All clients receive the link with a SECURE connection to provide login information for their credit reports.
I don't post the link for the general public because I don't want people who don't want to pay me to abuse my secure message board. The link is provided in the WELCOME email as well as in your private forum.
You know you have a secure connection when the URL begins with https:// -- the "s" stands for "secure."
On any other connection, your data goes through multiple routers (sometimes over 20) and lots of professional scammers install software to recognize SSNs and other personal data. I can delete your personal data from your forum, but I can't do anything about data compromised in transit.
Since many subscribers are very new to the net and computers, I'm not going to discuss options for secure data transfer, but you can certainly get an encryption program if you have to send reports that are not available online.
Obviously, don't post your personal identifying data at the CreditFactors forum - limit your posts to the ACCOUNTS - nobody needs your personal data. It's not even rated by FICO scores.
Keep your personal data safe!
