If you're looking to improve your credit rating you MUST order the myFICO credit reports with your FICO scores.
In most cases your credit rating is based on the information in the myFICO reports and the SCORE FACTORS with the specifics are incredibly helpful to determine WHAT to dispute.
Unfortunately myFICO no longer offers Experian reports.
I will let you know how to get a free and COMPLETE Experian report after you ordered as Experian continuall changes its offers.
Currently no free trial is available for ScoreWatch.
I recommend ScoreWatch only for clients who are in the market to purchase a home or need to know their scores for other important reasons. Please be aware that ScoreWatch monitors your score only ONCE A WEEK. While it is also available at Equifax, the report format is DIFFERENT, causing a lot of time to be wasted on reformatting and analyzing the reports and scores.
You can order at http://www.myfico.com/Products/Products.aspx
If you order the Suze Orman Kit (ignore her horrible advice), the reports will remain online for a year. The standard myFICO reports are only online for 30 days. If you are capable of SAVING your credit reports (as you should), you can just order the standard reports.
Do NOT order the Quarterly Monitoring as they AUTOMATICALLY provide the reports every 3 months, not when we NEED to get updated reports. ID Freeze is another useless product NOT usable for a Credit Analysis.
Please VERIFY the myFICO terms prior to ordering.
If you need general financial and credit advice, WAIT to order reports until I have a general understanding of your situation.
Sometimes I recommend a tri-merged (3-in-1) report, only suitable for clients who are NOT looking to increase FICO scores, but want to settle accounts, file for bankruptcy, etc. It depends on YOUR credit situation and goals.
If you are not certain what you SHOULD be doing, please order the $190 Credit Review, we can discuss your situation and you can decide whether to upgrade to the full Analysis.
NEVER purchase tri-merged reports for $20 to $30 -- it's a giant waste of money and you can get these reports through free trials.
For the Credit Analysis I usually only need the myFICO reports and the Experian direct report and I review the free CRA direct reports with the investigation results -- saving you a few dollars.
Do NOT order the free annual credit reports if you're on a schedule because the credit bureaus can EXTEND the time to complete their investigation from 30 days to 45 days.
My clients often order the free annual reports when fast investigation results are NOT required and we need information not in the myFICO reports or to check for reporting changes.
